About Me

Kristin Riley, MD, is a physician and surgeon at Penn State Health Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Riley completed medical school at Jefferson Medical College, now Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia. She was fellowship-trained in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she also completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. 

Dr. Riley specializes in treating patients with chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis, providing medical and surgical management of abnormal uterine bleeding and fibroids. At Penn State Health, she has access to a skilled, multidisciplinary team for the management of chronic pelvic pain. Through her fellowship training, Dr. Riley focuses on finding a minimally invasive approach to complex benign gynecologic conditions. She also performs gender-affirming surgery and provides gynecologic care for transgender individuals.

Dr. Riley serves as the minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellowship director, assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology and chief of the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Penn State College of Medicine. She is dedicated to teaching future generations of gynecologists to be skilled laparoscopic and robotic surgeons, as well as empathetic listeners.
