About Me

Ryan Kelly started his career in Emergency Medicine right after graduating high school when he started working in an Emergency Department as an EMT in Philadelphia in 2004. From there, he attended Nursing school at Bucks County Community College and transitioned from an ED tech to an ED Registered Nurse in 2010. After working for several years, he went back to school to finish his BSN and then MSN in Family Practice at Chamberlain College of Nursing. He started working at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in 2018 as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department.

Dr. Kelly is serving with the United States Air Force Reserve as a Flight Nurse in the 459th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, MD. 

Since joining Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Dr. Kelly has taken on an additional duty as Assistant Director of the Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Program. Dr. Kelly also completed his board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board for Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP-C).
