During his career, Dr. Talamo had the privilege of working with famous oncologists, such as Dr. James F. Holland in New York City, and Dr. Bart Barlogie at the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy at the University of Arkansas. Dr. Talamo has extensive experience in high-dose chemotherapy and autologous/allogeneic stem cell transplantation. He came to Hershey in 2007, and he devotes his clinical activity mainly to the treatment of multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders, such as plasma cell leukemia, primary amyloidosis, light chain deposition disease, and monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS).
