Dr. Fenwick grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Tunkhannock Area HS. He attended Drexel University on a full basketball scholarship, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in mechanical engineering and a concentration in biomechanics. Highlights of his college career included a basketball goodwill tour of China and a spot on the 1992 North Atlantic Conference regular season championship team.

Following college, Dr. Fenwick attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh and stayed there to complete the school’s prestigious orthopaedic surgery residency. Highlights of his time in Pittsburgh included reception of the Harold Henderson Sankey award, given to the outstanding senior medical student entering orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Fenwick conducted research in the field of biomechanics and was a member of a team that won the 1999 ISSAKOS Albert Trillat award for outstanding research in the field of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Fenwick served in the United States Air Force as an active duty Orthopaedic Surgeon with the rank of Major. Following his military service, he completed additional training to sub-specialize in the field of hip and knee replacement at the Anderson Orthopaedic Institute in Alexandria, VA.

Dr. Fenwick and his family are very happy to return to this area and to be able to serve the patients of Central Pennsylvania.
