Katrina M. Thoma, CRNP/PNP, RN, MSN
Before becoming part of the CT surgery team and helping to develop the CT surgery program, Katrina was a nurse in the HMC Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nurse for 19 years, including 12 years as Clinical Head Nurse. Additionally, she has served as a nurse in the U.S. Army for 19 years and is currently in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Katrina is a Pediatric Academic Life Support (PALS) instructor and lectures at professional conferences on topics of pediatric pulmonary hypertension, pediatric congenital heart disease, pacemakers, and cardiac dysrhythmias. Katrina is an active member in several organizations, including the HMC Advanced Practice Council and National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) where she is also part of the Childhood Obesity Special Interest Group and Delaware Valley NAPNAP Chapter.
