About Me

Jason Imundo, MD, joined the faculty at Penn State Health following completion of his pediatric cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Imundo completed his training in general pediatrics at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in New York City and Cohen Children's Medical Center (formerly Schneider Children's Hospital). He completed further training in pediatric cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Children's Medical Center, Dallas and completed his fellowship training in pediatric cardiac electrophysiology at CHOP.

In 2018, Dr. Imundo was named director of cardiac electrophysiology at Penn State Health Children's Hospital. He currently holds an appointment as an associate professor of pediatrics at Penn State College of Medicine, where he plays an integral role in teaching second- and third-year medical students, pediatric residents, cardiology fellows and electrophysiology fellows. Dr. Imundo provides patient services in cardiac device implantation, electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures, arrhythmias management and in the noninvasive electrophysiology clinic. He also dedicates a portion of his clinical time to general pediatric cardiology. Dr. Imundo has been appointed to leadership roles within the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and is actively involved in multiple scholarly activities, including recent publications and a book chapter in the field of pediatric electrophysiology.

He is currently board certified in general pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics), pediatric cardiology (American Board of Pediatrics) and pediatric cardiac electrophysiology (International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners). He is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and an active member of the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society. Dr. Imundo is a certified pediatric electrophysiology specialist by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners.
