Sarah Sweigart, PA-C, graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology physician assistant program and is a physician assistant working in the Penn State Children’s Hospital neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She is also the NICU Developmental Follow-up Clinic co-coordinator and has assisted with increasing patient access to long-term follow-up. Sarah is the program director of the first pediatric post-graduate advance practice provider fellowship in the NICU and has been involved with the Necrotizing Enterocolitis Quality Improvement team and the Patent Ductus Arteriosus Hot Topic team. She plans to expand the NICU post-graduate advanced practice provider fellowship and obtain accreditation for this program.
