Rehabilitative specialists in central Pennsylvania

Our physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists will work with you to restore function, increase mobility, and improve your quality of life.

Physical therapists

Physical therapists are licensed professionals who diagnose and treat people of all ages to help them improve or restore mobility, strength, and function. Physical therapists also help relieve pain through clinical techniques.

Our team has extensive experience examining patients, diagnosing conditions, and then preventing or treating issues that limit the body’s ability to move and function in daily life.

Occupational therapists

Occupational therapists are skilled professionals who have studied human growth and development with a specific emphasis on the social, emotional, and physiological effects of illness and injury.

Occupational therapy helps people achieve independence in all facets of their lives, such as:

  • Feeding
  • Dressing
  • Bathing
  • Cooking
  • Vocational needs

Speech Therapy

Speech therapists work with patients to evaluate and diagnose problems with:

  • Speech
  • Language
  • Cognitive-communication
  • Swallowing

Music Therapy

Music therapy addresses physical and emotional needs of patients and their families. During music therapy sessions, patients can participate in music-based activities that have been carefully selected and presented by a board-certified music therapist.

Driver's Education and Training

The department of Therapy Services offers a comprehensive driver evaluation and training program for individuals who have displayed difficulty in driving or learning to drive, due to physical, cognitive, perceptual, visual, or age related impairment.
